Abstract
The onset of asthma and its exacerbation in some cases is associated with
respiratory viruses. The emergence of a new type of coronavirus infection has raised these
issues again, including predicting the risk of COVID-19 in asthma patients. The article
describes the data on the association of asthma with respiratory viral infections, including
COVID-19, approaches to the differential diagnosis in asthma and allergic rhinitis, expert
recommendations on the prevention and treatment of diseases during an epidemic.
