Abstract
The article describes the current problems of organizing nursing care for
patients with diabetes, gives brief information about the epidemiology of diabetes, and
notes the specific features of the reforms being carried out at the ambulatory-polyclinic
level. modern conditions, the decisive role of patronage service for the inactive, the activities
of nurses in working with patients with diabetes, the goals and tasks of nurses in preventing
complications of the disease are emphasized.
