Abstract
International experience shows that many countries have implemented mediumterm budget planning in order to strengthen the stability of public finances, more efficient
allocation of resources, as well as to encourage their efficient use.The ongoing consistent
reforms and changes are playing an important role in ensuring the macroeconomic stability
of our country, which is rapidly entering the world community, improving the welfare of the
population and, most importantly, the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan.This
article describes the current reforms in the financial system of the Republic of Uzbekistan,
including the role of medium-term budgeting in ensuring economic and financial stability.
