Abstract
The article provides an analysis of the concept of migration, the economic
problems of population migration, its role in society as a complex socio-economic phenomenon,
the objective and subjective factors of adaptation and integration of migrants into other
societies. Indicators of adaptation to other societies, its complex aspects, the impact of
language skills on migration processes are highlighted. The process of adaptation of Uzbek
citizens in foreign countries, in particular in Russia, depends on the knowledge of the
language, the positive impact of language on cultural adaptation.
