Abstract
This article is devoted to the history of teaching "political science" in independent Uzbekistan, the current problems in teaching this subject, and the importance of innovative technologies in solving them. In particular, innovative pedagogical technologies such as case studies, discussions, and business games in the teaching of "political science" are illustrated with specific examples.
