Abstract

Normally, the amount of CRP in blood serum is from 0 to 10 mg/l. Inflammation
or acute detection of an increase in the concentration of CRP before tissue coverage. The
aim of the study was to determine the role of C-reactive protein (CRP) inflammatory
markers in the development of obstetric and perinatal complications in preeclampsia (PE).
The experiment involved 85 pregnant women. Of these, 31 pregnant women with severe PE
and 29 with mild PE. The control group consisted of 25 healthy pregnant women without
hypertension.
