Abstract

This review article presents the results of recent studies on the characterization
of neurotrophic factors and their involvement in brain neurodegeneration, as well as the
processes of differentiation and growth of nerve tissues. Data on pathogenesis and diagnostic
markers of cognitive impairments in patients with Parkinson's disease are presented.
